How to Repair Air Nailers & Staplers

The gas nail gun and Stapler have been in use for most of the century and have changed very little during that time.Crafted nail guns or nail guns, sometimes referred to as nail guns, can last for decades under proper maintenance.If the casing of the tool remains intact and there is no serious bending, most problems can be solved by cleaning the DingTalk and replacing the piston cylinder and O-ring.
Most manufacturers sell reconstruction kits containing parts needed for repair.The basic repair procedure for almost all gas nail guns and stapler is the same.Adjust the Allen wrench to fix the square grille on the four mounting bolts on the back of the DingTalk.
It is located at the top and rear of the tool, at the other end of the barrel, and usually has a shutter or port vent cover to allow air to escape.Turn the bolt counter-clockwise, loosen it and remove it.Use a utility blade to pry the square ventilation cover off the tool and remove it to reveal the piston cylinder chamber.
Grab the white or black plastic tray in the center of this chamber and pull it out from behind the tool.This is the piston cylinder, with a flat metal rod on the front end, packed in molded plastic fittings with black rubber bands around.These belts are O-rings that provide a seal for the air, allowing pressure release, pushing the piston forward to drive the fasteners.
Spray aerosol cleaners, such as tools or part cleaners, into the chamber of the DingTalk.Tip it down after opening, let the cleaner run out and take away the oil and dirt.Run cotton swab inside the chamber.If the cotton swab is black, reuse the cleaner.
Let the detergent evaporate for fifteen minutes.Check the cylinder and metal piston.If it doesn\'t look damaged and the metal piston has relatively no deep scratches and the edges are smooth, just remove and replace the O-ring.Stretch these elastic rubber seals and remove them from the cylinder.
Position the new O-ring in the same groove on the cylinder.If you see signs of wear, such as cracks in plastic, or pistons that are bent or slotted, replace the entire cylinder and piston assembly.Apply the air tool oil to the O-ring with a cotton swab to keep it soft, to help seal and to provide lubrication for the piston.
Press the cylinder back into place and align any groove or notch with the opening of the tool box to ensure proper positioning.Clean the inside of the vent cover with a clean cotton swab and acetone to remove dust and debris from the grill.Replace the mounting screw through the ventilation cover at the back of the tool.
Tighten them with Allen keys.
Drip three drops of air tool oil into the inlet fitting or air nozzle at the bottom of the nail gun, directly under the ventilation cover.Reconnect the air hose and fill the magazine with fasteners.It\'s available now
